Jane Worthington Softball Camps

Description

This camp will provide athletes with the opportunity to develop their game both offensively and defensively as well as showcase their skill with live scrimmages. The camp will be broken up into a morning and afternoon session. There will be hitting and defensive instruction in the morning, followed by scrimmages in the afternoon. Campers can choose to attend both days or one day. Campers will receive instruction from the current EKU softball staff and players.

Day 1

-          8:30 am  Check In

-          9:00- 12:30pm  Defense/Hitting Instruction

-          12:30-1:30pm  Lunch Break (Bring your lunch)

-          1:30-5:00pm Scrimmages

 

Day 2

-          8:30 am  Check In

-          9:00-11:30am  Defensive/Hitting Instruction

-          11:30-12:30pm  Scrimmage 1

-          12:45-1:45pm  Lunch Break (Bring your lunch)

What to Bring

Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Please mark the camper’s name on all items. The camp is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen belongings. Water will be provided but we also recommend bringing your own water bottle as well.

Please check in 25 minutes prior to the start of your session.

 

Waiver Information
A Waiver & Medical Release Form is available on the website. Please make sure it is filled out and submitted.
